In 2014 Celsius Mechanical completed the mechanical contract on Gate Theatre which is historic building. 

The project comprises installation of new supply ventilation system serving auditorium at the Gate Theatre. This system includes air handling unit supplying tempered air to the auditorium via floor mounted perforated plates. Air handling unit heating coil is connected to existing heating system. Cooling and some heating provided to air handling unit is generated by air source heat pump. Air is extracted from the above stage area by two existing fans. This extract ventilation system is modified by installing new heat exchange coils which are inserted into ductwork. These coils are linked to the air handling unit heating coil which allows the waste heat to be recovered. Some of other existing services had to be modified as a result of installing new system.                    

The services provided under this contract included LPHW, water, ventilation, air conditioning and BMS controls.
