TCOAG, BRAY – CHILLED & STEAM SYSTEMS UPGRADE

In May 2012, Celsius Mechanical were awarded the main contract on a Design and Build project to upgrade the existing chilled water and steam systems in the manufacturing plant in Bray. 

With a new unit coming on line in July 2012 called a Flash Pasteuriser the existing systems have to be upgraded to give the required utilities to this new process. The new unit requires steam and chilled water to new plate heat exchangers while maintaining the existing system dynamics and without disruption to live processes. The installation is to be carried out with as little disruption or disturbance to the client.    

The systems upgrades were designed by Celsius Mechanical and included the relocation of chilled water plant from outdoor to indoor and from an open to a pressurised system. The complete installation is to be flushed and recommissioned after upgrade. 

The services provided under this contract included chilled water, steam, electrical and builders work installations.
